My Poems :)

Since a lil girl dad has always encouraged our artisitc side and hes a good poet who writes in malayalam,so annual Kerala Smajam competiotions wud see me competing in the literary side essays and poemwriting..

Its not a hobby just this flow of what wrds fall on papers and they maybe called prose but here are a few of my pennings :)

1)INSECURITY-
Even my tightening grip on your arm
Doesn’t alert you that you harm
An inner cave of hollowness in me
Leading to catastrophe
Don’t you see the words you throw at me
Can shatter my soul,make me feel so cold
The tie we have isn’t to break
Lets mend it now before its too late
Lonely and sad without your face
How do you expect me to erase?
All my life is for youIt just shows my insecurity is so true….
2)INVISIBLE-
Frost bitten earth
Adamant to absorb
All those wasted tears shed
Unheard and unseen
Heavy heart counts endless nights
Waiting to hear sweet news from you
Soft prayers in your name
Which are untold and unknown,an utter shame
Rustling wind haunts me
To reach only for that sweet voice
That left me behindAlone and unhappy
A pledge never swornIs your love for me
As true as the daylight sun?Is to be unveiled
Sudden footsteps alert me
That my loved one is back
A smile upon my face
Awaiting for you so long
Creaky door pushed open
With your searching hands
Reached for hands of another one
And made me feel so Invisible….

3)Silent Sufferer
Silent sufferer
Where are you?
Cursed and wanted to be forgotten
You are given a place only in the dirt
Why did you speak your mind?
Scared to hide,but forced to
Try to find a place where eyes are blind
With spies hovering like bats
Use your wings and fly away……
4)My companion(I didn’t title this one but my friend suggested this name cos I hadto give it to be printed for the college mag,)
Stolen glances on my side
When you take a ride
On your white convertible
Making my heart feel so uncomfortable
Small little dreams in my eyes
Just wanting to know what you fantasize
Keeping this distance hurts me so
Wishing you would love me more.
Practically speaking,my mind thinks straight
But remembering you,makes me stray
Always believing that “hope never dies”
I wish our love will never say goodbye
